Baklava’s set is composed of different category of oriental sweets like Borma,Basma, Basima,Ballorieh, Fingers, Roses, and Bokaj.

Atayef/Qatayef is the general name of the dessert as a whole, but more specifically, the batter. The result of the batter being poured onto a round hot plate appears similar to pancakes, except only one side is cooked, then folded. The pastry is filled with either unsalted cheese or a mixture of any of hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds and pistachios. It is then deep-fried or, less commonly, baked and served with a hot syrup. The holy month of Ramadan won’t be the same without having Atayef on the table after iftar.

Ma’mul that is filled with crushed walnuts, dates, or pistachios and then coated with powdered sugar is considered as the main consumed dessert in Eid time and it’s a must during its holidays.

Warbat, Halawet El Jeben, Mabroma, Basbosa, Ghray-beh and Bara-zik is also a delicacy that should not be missed. This heavenly dessert refers to the third category of oriental sweets that are made with cream and cheese; this dessert is a masterpiece that we are very specialized with.
